USNC Framatome Joint Venture
Commerical Production of TRISO / FCM® Fuel
Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation (USNC) and Framatome have formed a joint venture (JV) to provide fourth-generation nuclear fuel for Micro-Modular™ Reactor (MMR®) and other advanced reactor designs. The fuel supply will include commercial quantities of Tri-structural Isotropic (TRISO) particles and USNC’s proprietary Fully Ceramic Micro-encapsulated (FCM®) fuel.
